Danny sadly continues to be very ill as of this evening (Mon. 16/03).  The Monday crowd have sent him a get well card.

One tie played in the Winkworth Shield on Mon. 16th. Mar. Simon & Richard beat Stuart & Stanley.

You'll find the results of all first round ties of the Winkworth Shield competition on the 'Results News' page.

To use the 'Talking Bridge' (see below) you'll need to log on via the 'Members Only' tag which is top right on this page.  There is an alternative way to log on via a pop up window which will appear if you click first on 'comment' on the article itself but this is not recommended because, like the Webmaster, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  This is attributable to a wrinkle in the software and not in the Webmaster.  When you've logged on go back to the home page via 'Home' on the menu panel and then click on 'comment'.  There are also thumbs up and thumbs down icons you can click for 'like' and 'dislike' but these are optional.
