Forfar Bridge Club plays every Thursday evening at the Queens Hotel, The Cross, Forfar DD8 1BX. Play commences at 7.00 pm. The Club is affiliated to the Scottish Bridge Union. Table money is currently £3.00 per person per night and includes tea or coffee and biscuits. Alcoholic or soft drinks may be purchased from the hotel. We do not run a host system but would welcome enquiries from individuals of any standard and would do our best to find a partner for any particular evening. Please telephone Bob Anderson on 01307 248754 (email email@example.com } if you would like a partner or any other information. If you want to learn to play bridge we may be able to help with that too.
The James Chalmers Salver competition starts 9/5 2019 until 19/9 2019 .The rules state that one score over the half of games played qualify to win a prize.
If 20 games are played 11 scores count. Normally a pairs competition it was decided to run it as an individual as many people go on holiday and
in order to have enough people to play you can invite another partner. If you play the maximum of 20 nights you can drop your nine poorest scores
We hope you can encourage several visitors to visit as a result. Enjoy your bridge.
