Congratulations to Fermoy members John Lyons and Noel Bradfield, who emerged victorious as part of the Munster team in the area masters section of the interprovincials this weekend (29/30th November).

Congratulations to the winners of the IBU Interprovincial Championships held over the weekend in the new venue of Knightsbrook Hotel & Country Club. Munster was the most successful province, retaining the Area Master title, and winning the Intermediate one, while Leinster retained the Open series. The most exciting competition was in the Area Master section, with any of three teams capable of winning the title entering the final round, and Munster climbing from third place at that point to emerge victorious.

A friendly bridge competition available to Novice and Intermediate-B players only (No Intermediate-A players allowed)

Aim: To encourage greater participation by Novices and Intermediate-B players in competitions

No intermediate-A players allowed. A partnership can be a combination of Novice and Intermediate-B players.

If both of the partnership are Novices - the partnership will be entered in the Novice competition

If at least one of the partnership is an Intermediate-B player - the partnership will be entered in the Intermediate-B competition

Our resurrected Fermoy Gala is to held on Saturday 20th September.

Please enter if you are able to, and good luck to all entrants.

For Open pairs you turn up and enter on the day, no pre-booking is necessary.

For the Novice, Intermediate and Congress pairs you MUST complete the entry form and submit by midnight on Friday the 19th of September. If you are a Novice and not yet received your NBID number then just enter the word Novice where the form asks for your NBID number
