About the Club

Welcome to Felsted Bridge Club.  We are a friendly Club meeting weekly on a Tuesday.  Please arrive before 7pm (for 7.05pm start) finishing between 10 and 10.30pm, for duplicate bridge. The Club normally has 9 - 11 tables and welcomes visitors by prior arrangement.

Latest News
We have resumed face to face bridge at the British Legion Hall and meet ready to start play just after 7pm.  Please note the item about car parking at the end of the arrangements.
Joan Pay is prepared to take on the role of "partner fixer". Anyone who wants to play the following week and doesn't have a partner should contact her on 01376 334821 or email her on ""

1] We ensure that the windows at the front and rear of the room are fully opened. We will also leave open the door that we normally come in by and any other doors that help ventilate the room. You might like to bear this in mind when deciding what clothes to wear.
2] Hand sanitizer will be available as you come in and at all tables and should be used as you arrive and between each set of boards.
3] The wearing of masks will not be mandatory although, to avoid creating crowded spaces, we encourage you to be seated quickly on arrival and between rounds.
4] The "phones" recording the scores will be sanitized before being handed out and will only be used by North and approved by East.
5] We require all those attending to be fully vaccinated or alternatively to have a negative COVID test immediately before playing. If anyone has a problem with this please let the chairman know.Obviously anyone with COVID symptoms should not attend, and if they test positive after playing, Douglas should be informed [ or in my absence either David Boyle or Tim Potter ] so that appropriate action can be taken.
The Government suggests a cautious approach and we should respect this if individuals take extra precautions such as wearing masks or gloves.
We will watch for further Government advice and the above will be altered as necessary.
You should also be warned that at our recent committee meeting at the Hall the car park was full. The British Legion informs us that this is a public car park and is currently being used extensively by staff and customers of the Swan P. H. This is because much of their own car parking has been used for outside drinking and eating. This will mean allowing more time for parking.
