We have a number of competitions and prizes for club members.

Weekly Prize

This is awarded to the best pair that week provided they have not already received a Weekly Prize in the current period.
There are approximately 3 prize periods each year although this may vary at the discretion of the organiser.
Currently, a minimum of 5 full tables is required for a prize to be awarded.
If there are 8 or more tables, then 2 pairs will receive prizes.
 

Monthly Prize

This is a "Most Improved Pair" prize comparing the average percentage score over the month with that over the previous 6 months.
Pairs must play a minimum of 3 times in the month and 6 times in the previous 6 months to qualify.
 

Club Championship

This is held annually over 3 sessions. The best 2 results for each pair will be taken.
The names of the winning pair will be engraved on the club cup which will be held by the winning pair for the next year.
A trophy will be awarded to each winner.
 

Dot Davies Trophy

This is an annual "Most Improved Pair" competition comparing the score on the evening with the average over the previous 6 months.
Pairs must play a minimum of 3 times in the previous 6 months to qualify.
The trophy will be held by the winning pair for the next year.
