Club Member Success in 2022 Middlesex Championship events.
Club members, Suren and Ranjan enjoyed major success in the recent Middlesex Chapionship events. They came first in the Mixed Pairs and were runners up in the Championship Pairs Event. They will now be repreesenting Middlesex in national competitions.
Congratulations to them on this great achievement and we wish them luck in the Nationals.

Our 2020-21 EDBC Ladder ended on 30th September. Congratulations to Anojan and Neeta who shared the first and second prizes and Suren who claimed the third place prize.
A a new ladder has now started. Your final score will be the average of your best twenty scores from Oct'21 to Sep'22.

EDBC played a Teams Match against St Albans and Lytham on Monday 4th January. We came out victorious after a most enjoyable event.

Annual General Meeting 2020

The 118th AGM of Enfield Duplicate Bridge Club took place on Thursday 19th November at 18:45 via Zoom and was followed by a very enjoyable session of Real Bridge.

Whilst our face to face activities are curtailed, many members are playing on BBO (BridgeBase Online) in the various online sessions hosted by the EBU and the Middlesex County Bridge Association:

More club member sucess to report:
Suren and Ranjan came second out of a field of 56 in the recent Surrey Mixed Pairs.
There was also a strong showing by Anojan and Neeta who finished eighth.

Report on the Middlesex teams of 8 (19/01/2020)
This weekend, a group of members went to the Annual teams of 8 competition at Pinner bridge club. After 4 rounds of 6 boards, the results were:

Came in third place.

A few EDBC members played in the recent EBU End-of-Year Conference and enjoyed mixed success.
- Suren and Anojan secured a commendable mid-table position in the strongest event of the congress, the Open Pairs.
- In Monday's Swiss Teams event, Graham Pollack's team scored 77/140.
- Also, in the Swiss Teams event, Joanna, Mike, Steve and Marc started off strongly, winning their first match 20-0 and taking a decent 62% score into Round 5. Sadly, the wheels then fell off and only two more victory points were secured in the final three sessions. There were many challenging boards and one is featured in our December Hand of the Month.
