UPLOADING RESULTS FROM THE CLUB COMPUTER
Uploading to Bridgewebs
At the end of the evening click on the ‘Send’ menu then the ‘Upload results to Bridgewebs’ submenu.
Uploading to the EBU
- Before closing the event get to the results page (Click on the ‘Other pages’ menu then ‘Results and Outputs’ submenu)
- Click on the ‘Make file’ menu then the ‘P2P file’ submenu.
- On the window that comes up click the ‘Open the upload page’ button.
- If not already showing, enter the club number 201162 and the password and click ‘Login’.
- The ‘Sessions’ page will open. Click ‘Submit’ in the top right hand corner.
- In the next window click the blue ‘Browse’ button. A window showing the contents of the EBU P2P files folder on the desktop will open. Select the file shown and click ‘Open’.
- The window will close and you will be able to click on ‘Upload’. The EBU will check the file and if all is OK a green ‘Submit’ button will appear for you to click, and you're done!
- If needed, see 'Extras' for how to deal with an orange submit button.

UPLOADING FROM HOME IF YOU HAVE A COPY OF SCOREBRIDGE (CURRENT OR EXPIRED)
This is the same as for the club computer once Bridgeweb preferences have been entered into Scorebridge (see 'Extras') and the results (.dat) file has been taken home.
Save the file you will need to take home.
- You will need the .dat results file from Scorebridge’s ‘Bridge data’ folder. Click the ‘Close Event’ menu. On the events list, click the ‘System’ menu and ‘Show Bridgedata Folder’ submenu.
- Find the file with the correct date and save it to your USB stick
- At home, drag and drop the .dat results file into Scorebridge’s event list. Load the event, check that you’re on the internet and proceed as with the club computer.
UPLOADING FROM HOME IF YOU DON’T HAVE SCOREBRIDGE
You will need to take home 2 files. The results (.dat) file as explained in the section above and the EBU P2P file
Saving the files to take home while at the club
- Before closing the event get to the results page (Click on the ‘Other pages’ menu then ‘Results and Outputs’ submenu)
- Click on the ‘Make file’ menu then the ‘P2P file’ submenu.
- You will need the .dat results file from Scorebridge’s ‘Bridge data’ folder. Click the ‘Close Event’ menu. On the events list, click the ‘System’ menu and ‘Show Bridgedata Folder’ submenu.
- Find the file with the correct date and save it to your USB stick
- Close all open windows to see the desktop. Locate the EBU P2PFile folder on the desktop and save the file inside it to the USB stick too.
Uploading to bridgewebs
- At home, open the EDBC website and click on the ‘Administration’ menu item. This will open up 2 submenu items. Click on ‘Results Administration’.
- Enter the password and click on ‘Login’. Plug the USB stick into your PC
- Click on ‘Browse’ opposite ‘Select the Results file’ .
- A window will open to files on your PC. Find the results(.dat) file you want to upload and select it (the filename will appear beside the browse button), and click ‘Upload’.
- If asked on the next window select the event you want to attach it to.
Uploading to the EBU
- In the club website, click on the link to the ‘EBU members area’ in the ‘Useful Links’ page.
- If not already showing, enter the club number 201162 and the password and click ‘Login’.
- The ‘Sessions’ page will open. Click ‘Submit’ in the top right hand corner.
- In the next window click the blue ‘Browse’ button. A window showing the contents of your computer will open. Navigate to the USB stick, select the P2P (.xml) file and click ‘Open’.
- The window will close and you will be able to click on ‘Upload’. The EBU will check the file and if all is OK a green ‘Submit’ button will appear for you to click, and you're done!

Set up Scorebridge to upload like the club computer (you will only have to do this the first time)
- Click on the ‘Club Preferences’ menu, then the ‘Web Page Preferences’ submenu.
- In the ‘Uploading Results to Bridgewebs’ section enter ‘edbridge’ as the ‘Login Code’ and the results upload password as the password.
What to do if the 'Submit' button is orange
- If the ‘submit’ button is orange, a list of the players whose EBU numbers are missing appears. For each, click on the neighbouring ‘Resolve Unknown ‘ button.
- On the next screen click on ‘Look up this name’, a list appears below. Select the one that seems most likely, if none are likely click on ‘This player was a guest’.
- When you have resolved all the ‘Unknowns’ the ‘Submit button will be green, click it and you're done.

UPLOADING DEALS TO BRIDGEWEBS
Uploading the deal before the hands are played
- Open the EDBC website and click on the ‘Administration’ menu item. This will open up 2 submenu items. Click on ‘Results Administration’.
- Enter the password and click on ‘Login’.
- At the top of the page click on the ‘Attach’ tab.
- Click on ‘Choose a previously scheduled result’ and select the relevant date from the drop-down menu.
- Click on ‘Browse’ opposite ‘Select the Deal file’ .
- A window will open to files on your PC. Find the one you want to upload and select it (the filename will appear beside the browse button), and click ‘Upload & Attach’.
Uploading the deal after the result has been uploaded
- Open the EDBC website and click on the ‘Administration’ menu item. This will open up 2 submenu items. Click on ‘Results Administration’.
- Enter the password and click on ‘Login’.
- At the top of the page click on the ‘Amend’ tab.
- Click on ‘Choose a previously posted result’ and select the relevant date (the oldest are at the bottom) from the drop-down menu.
- Click on ‘Browse’ opposite ‘Select the Deal file’ .
- A window will open to files on your PC. Find the one you want to upload and select it (the filename will appear beside the browse button), and click ‘Upload’.
