At EDBC
Wednesday, October 25, is our one and only chance to run the ACBL-wide Instant Masterpoint Game.

This game offers 50/50 red/black points at 81.8% sectional rating. The top pair in each section gets 1.00 GOLD point!
No extra charge to players, as promised when EDBC raised our game fees!
Our Wednesday games haven't been doing well, but please, everyone, make an effort to play in the October 25 game.
 

BBO Special Games

Club Appreciation Games will be held October 15-21. Double black points for all EDBC BBO games that week!

In light of the continued increase in costs for everything from ACBL sanctioning fees to paper plates, EDBC has raised game fees as of February 1. Face-to-face games are $8 each and BBO games are $7 each. All F2F games are "special" which means points paid are higher than the standard club rates. (We have been doing this since early 2022.) Some even more special games, such as STaC, will pay silver, red or gold points. There will also be occasional special games on BBO, most of which pay double black points. If you are interested in details about EDBC's financial status, please see the budget posted on the bulletin board near the back door, or request a copy from Nancy Erwin.  (Club Manager's note: director compensation has NOT increased.)

BBO Limited 0-300 Stratified Games: 
Tuesday 12:15 PM CT 
Sunday 1:45 PM CT 

Note: Celebration Saturdays are the second and fourth Saturday each month. All Club birthdays of the month will be celebrated on the second Saturday with the Club providing cake. The fourth Saturday will be a carry-in lunch with the Club providing drinks. Attendees should register in advance (list at the Club) and bring a covered dish. There will be BOTH Open and 0-300 games on Celebration Saturdays.
