PLEASE BE AWARE
When taking part in Monday Social - please avoiding playimg against other opponents in the same room on Monday otherwise your scores will be combined and not necessarily valid for the event. If one of the pairs taking part has only played against their allotted opponents then the scores for the other pair can be calculated but if both pairs have mixed in then the result for the club event cannot be determined easily.
Similarly with the Thursday Dido - avoid playing in the Dido with other partners than your normal Dido partner.
ARRANGING A TABLE
Private tables can now be reserved. At the 'Start Table' click 'Option'. In the two boxes - enter your choice of table name and a password. On future occasions your choices will appear as drop down options. I recommend starting your table name with ECB then hopefully all our tables will be grouped together and easier to find. I advocate that we all use the password ecbclub every time which will obviate the need for communication. Take a seat at the table, set your partner as partner and invite to play. Check the wherabouts of your opponents in Local Club - they may already have the table set up.
WHATSAPP
The value of the Whatsapp 'Bridge On Line' group is principally to broadcast messages widely e.g. any pair at a loose end can send out a message to the rest of the group asking if anyone is available to play. When used for individual conversation all the group receive the communication when it isn't relevant to them.
