Congratulations to our members who had some great results over the weekend in national and regional competitions:

In the Lambert Cup (CBAI Confined Pairs) in Loughrea, Breda Scanlan and Phil Harnett finished in second place, while Maeve Pelly and Dorothy Nolan won the Best Intermediate prize. The following day, Mia Delaney was on the winning team in the Cooper Cup (CBAI Confined Teams).

Also on Sunday, Maeve Pelly and Denise O’Hagan achieved third place in the Britton Salver (Eastern Region President’s Prize - Intermediate section).

Many thanks to all our members and friends who turned out in such numbers for our Charity Night on Monday 11 May. Thank you also for your very generous donations to support our chosen charity, Operation Smile. We had a great evening, and together with a contribution from the Club, we expect the final amount to be at least €5,000.
