Welcome to Dun Laoghaire Bridge Club
Message from our President

Welcome back to all our members and friends to a new year of club bridge. I am delighted and honoured to represent this great club as your President and I am looking forward to seeing everyone participate in person on our club nights and competitions throughout the season.

COVID has been difficult for us and all bridge clubs but we were proactive in setting up online bridge at an early stage for members and this was an outstanding success. We now have 195 members, many of whom have joined to enjoy the online experience. However, we need now to return to in house bridge and personal attendance in  numbers is essential if we are to remain viable as a club I am therefore appealing to all our new members and in particular to our older members to come down and play in the club and enjoy a sociable and convivial experience. I can assure you that your committee has done everything to ensure that we have a safe environment in which to play.

I look forward to meeting and playing with new members and hope you will participate in our social and fun nights as well as the serious business of winning competitions and improving our skills.

Maeve Pelly
