The Board is saddened to learn of the death of long standing, past member, Irene Cameron. Irene was a past Board member for many years and contributed to the running of the club during that time. She played regularly in many sessions over the years but most recently she played on Friday afternoons until ill health made it too difficult to attend. Funeral arrangements when known will be posted here

The new Fastrack Course will consist of 20 sessions. Tuesday afternoon classes from 2.00pm-4.00pm commencing 22 September 2026 and Thursday evening classes from 7.00pm-9.00pm commencing 24 September 2026.

For our continuing students,  Improvers first term will run for 12 weeks. Tuesday afternoon classes from 2.00pm - 4.00pm will commence 15 September 2026 and Thursday evening classes from 7.00pm-9.00pm will commence 17 September 2026.

Summer Competitions on Wednesday evenings on BBO

WF Kerr Salver commences on Wednesday 1^st April for four weeks. Best three scores count.

Stanley Trophy, the Club’s Mixed Pairs Championship, commences on Wednesday 29^th April for four weeks. Best three scores count.

Summer Cup commences on Wednesday 27^th May for five weeks. Best three scores count.

Visitors will be playing in the above competitions but only Dundee Bridge Club members can win the trophies.

Wednesday Evening Pairs, an ongoing open pairs event, will run concurrent with the WF Kerr, Stanley and Summer Cup.

The Strathpeffer Bridge Congress was held from Friday 27^th to Sunday 29^th March 2026. Notable successes for Dundee Bridge Club members were: -

Michael Heubeck was 1^st in the Harrison trophy and Claire Hargan finished in 3^rd place.

There will be a new evening session at Dundee Bridge Club to be held on the last Monday of the month starting on Monday 23^rd February 2026 and running to Monday 31^st August 2026. Play will commence at 7:00pm.

SCG Solutions, a business telecoms specialist, are sponsoring the event with prizes of £100 per pair awarded to the top gold, top silver and top bronze pairs. A trophy, donated by Earl McGregor, will be presented to the overall winning pair.

You will automatically be entered in the competition when you register on the evening to play. Visitors are welcome to play on any of the evenings but are not eligible to win a prize.

The Cental District Russell French teams of four trophy event was held at Dundee Bridge Club on Saturday 17^th January 2026. Eleven teams from various Central District Clubs participated in the event.
Congratulations to the winning team comprising:- Matthew Robb, Alan Kennedy, Juliet Vivers & Bob Anderson.
