The Annual General Meeting of Dundee Bridge Club Ltd will be held on Wednesday  October 21^st at 7.15 pm in the club. Any proposals for resolutions to be considered for the AGM should be with the Company Secretary in writing by email by 21st September 2026.

The final round of the SCG Solutions MP Pairs was played on Monday evening 31 August 2026. Steven Funai obtained sponsonship for the event from SCG Solutions, a telecommunication and IT connectivity company based in Abedeen. This allowed for monetory prizes of £100 per pair for winners of the gold, silver and bronze sections to be made. The winners are:-

The SCG Solutions MP Pairs competion will continue through 2026-2027 and will be played on the last Monday evening of the month at the club, commencing at 7:00pm. The same sponsonship prize money continues at £100 per pair for the best gold, silver and bronze pairs.

Dundee Bridge Club's invitational teams of four Claredon Trophy was held at Dundee Bridge Club on Saturday 22^nd August 2026. Thirteen Teams teams from various Scottish Clubs participated in the event.

Our new course commencing on Tuesday 22^nd Sept from 2.00pm - 4.00pm, or Thursday 24^th Sept from 7.00pm - 9.00pm, will start at Beginners moving on to Improvers at our students pace.

For our continuing students,  Improvers first term will run for 12 weeks. Tuesday afternoon classes from 2.00pm - 4.00pm will commence 15 September 2026 and Thursday evening classes from 7.00pm-9.00pm will commence 17 September 2026.

The Petyrma Trophy will be played over nine Wednesday evenings on BBO. Visitors are welcome to play but their scores will not count for the trophy.

It is a xIMPs scored open pairs event to be played over nine Wednesday evenings, 1^st July 2026 to 26^th August 2026, 19:00 start, on BBO. To qualify for the trophy a pair must play at least five rounds.

To enter the competition, you do so, as usual, by registering on BBO up to 2 hours, before the event is due to start. The cost is 4BB$ per person.

There will be a new evening session at Dundee Bridge Club to be held on the last Monday of the month starting on Monday 23^rd February 2026 and running to Monday 31^st August 2026. Play will commence at 7:00pm.

SCG Solutions, a business telecoms specialist, are sponsoring the event with prizes of £100 per pair awarded to the top gold, top silver and top bronze pairs. A trophy, donated by Earl McGregor, will be presented to the overall winning pair.

You will automatically be entered in the competition when you register on the evening to play. Visitors are welcome to play on any of the evenings but are not eligible to win a prize.

Interested in playing bridge in a non-competitive environment and enjoying a chat with others, then come along and play at Dundee Bridge Club on Tuesday mornings from 1^st April 2025.
