South will open 1♥ (the lower of two 4 card suits).
North will bid 1♠
South will bid 3♠
North with an extra ♠ , 14HCPs is mildly interested in slam opposite a strongish hand might try to go slam. The downside is the shortage in partners suit, but it is an Ace. Depending on agreement another bid will show a control and an interest in a slam. Partners either agree first or first and second round controls. Cue Bidding
With both 1st and second round controls 4♣ would show the K♣ (south has the Ace ♣ s)
If first round controls North may have to bid 4♥ s - the danger is that it may show delayed support for ♥ s.
After either bid South has to eveluate hand to see if he is interested in slam. He has good intermediates, If Noth has shown K♣ , the Ax in ♣ s is good, not a great number of HCPs.
Half full or half empty?
If positive 4NT RKCB (1431 better)
North will bid 5♥ s showing 2 KCs without Q.
South will bid 6♠ that makes.
As South cannot finesse ♥ s normally, he has to do a ruffing finesse that works.
