Laura Sauer's "Apricot Oatmeal Squares"

Mix the following together:
Yellow Cake Mix
2 Cups oatmeal
2 sticks butter melted

Mix 8 oz. apricot preserves with 1 tsp. water (or any favorite preserves)

1) Spread ½ of cake mixture in 13" x 9" oblong dish

2) Spread apricot preserves over top

3) Crumble rest of mixture over top

4) Bake at 375o 15-20 minutes or until lightly brown
