Dingle Bridge Club runs a Tuesday evening session at 19:30 in Dingle Benners Hotel in the Winter and in Ventry Community Hall in the Summer. There are also moves afoot to start a daytime bridge session. More details will follow soon.

We use the BriAn Electronic Bridge Scoring System in the club. It is a smartphone-based scoring application designed for contract bridge sessions, duplicates, tournaments, and café bridge.

• The Brian app (free) is installed on players' own Android or iOS devices (phones or tablets) and used to enter the scores at the end of each hand. There is no need to purchase any dedicated hardware.
• The app features a dedicated Director Mode for setting up games, controlling movements, monitoring session progress, and editing/adjusting scores or artificial rulings. It includes a wide built-in movement dictionary which includes Pairs (Mitchell, Howell, Hesitation).
• Brian can automatically calculate makeable tricks/contracts, flag unlikely scores or impossible opening leads, and supports real-time live rankings. The results are also exported to Bridgewebs once the session has been finalised..
• The club also has a Jannersten dealing machine, so hands for a session are pre-dealt, and are saved as PBN records. The Brian web interface can upload the PBN hand records to Bridgewebs, allowing results to be interrogated alongside each hand.
