What is It?

The Western League is a yearly, inter-county competition that runs from September to April on RealBridge. Eight counties take part: Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, East Wales, Herefordshire, Somerset and Wiltshire. There are three divisions and Devon will enter teams in each.

The winners of each division qualify to compete against other regional league winners in the one-day National Inter-County Final on RealBridge in June.

When and Where?

Each match is played on a Saturday at 2pm on RealBridge, on the dates shown in the table below.

The winners of each Division will be invited to compete in the National Inter-County League Finals in June 2027.

Matches and Scoring 

All matches comprise 24 boards, played in two stanzas of 12 boards each. Scoring is by net IMPs converted to Victory Points.

Selection

All Devon players are eligible to play in this competition, There is no minimum NGS requirement and all are welcome to apply. To register your interest, fill out the form below before the 31st August. You can enter with as many partners as you like. Many thanks to our selectors who will select teams from the players who have registered their interest in playing for Devon.
