A one-day two session Team-of-Eight competition for EBU-affiliated Devon Clubs

Sunday, February 15, 2026, starting at 1100, on RealBridge.
Format
- A two-session teams competition with all teams playing as many of the other teams as is possible
- Approximately 24 boards a session starting at 11am with a break of up to one hour between sessions
- The winning club team will be invited to represent Devon in the Garden Cities Trophy
The tournament director reserves the right to alter the format as and when necessary.

The competition is open to all EBU-affiliated Devon Clubs.
The closing date is Friday, February 13, 2026 at 5pm, but please enter asap.
The team captain should complete the form below and include the names of all eight team members.
Substitutions are allowed but must be notified to the DBA prior to the closing date.
The entry fee of £50 per team should be paid by Bank Transfer:

EBU Garden Cities Trophy
The winning club team will be invited to represent Devon in the EBU Garden Cities Trophy.
Regional finals will take place on May 9, 2026 at various locations, and the National finals will take place on June 6, 2026, venue TBC.
Teams are limited to eight playing members in each of the Regional and National Finals, although not necessarily the same eight in the Regional and National Final.
EBU rules for the Garden Cities Trophy will apply. Players must have been members of the club for at least three months immediately prior to the closing date for entry to the county competition. Moreover, players must play regularly at the club or for the club, or contribute regularly in some other way, or have met this criterion in previous years, yet be unable to currently do so through some personal circumstance (eg illness, work, childcare, etc). The DBA will pay the club's entry fee and travel expenses but not accommodation.
