The John Woolcott weekend will be face-to-face in 2027 and will take place at the Exeter Court Hotel.
This weekend event includes a Swiss Pairs competition on the Saturday, and a blue-pointed Swiss Teams competition on the Sunday.
The Sunday Teams will be the qualifying event for the EBU Pachabo Cup, the two-day competition for counties' teams of four champions. When & Where

The hotel is just off the A38 near Kennford, Exeter, and has plenty of free parking.
Rooms are available for the weekend at the standard rate for bed & breakfast, and there is a restaurant serving evening meals.

Eligibility
All EBU members are welcome to enter, regardless of their county of allegiance.
However, only teams made up of four Devon players will be eligible to represent the county in the EBU Pachabo Cup, see below. Entry Fee
Saturday Pairs - £25 per person to include tea/coffee on arrival, a light lunch with hot drink.
Blue-pointed Sunday Teams - £30 per person to include tea/coffee on arrival, a light lunch with hot drink.
The price for both days is just £50 per person.

The EBU Pachabo
The Sunday Teams competition is the Devon qualifier for the EBU Pachabo Cup, which will take place at the Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort on the weekend of 12th & 13th June, 2027. The highest-ranked team of Devon players will be invited to represent the county in this competition.
The DBA will pay the team's entry fee and reasonable travel expenses but not accommodation..
