The 2024 Chester Bowl is on Sunday 20^th October and is F2F at Deva Bridge Club, Village Road, Christleton, Chester, CH3 7AS.

It is a 2 session event starting at 12:00 noon, with a break at half time, and the second session running into the evening. The format will depend on the number of entrants, either being an all play all over two sessions or a qualifying session followed by a final and consolation event. Blue master points will be awarded on the County Scale, and the winners will have their name engraved on the Bowl trophy. The entrance fee is £17.50 per person and there will be cash prizes of 20-25% of total entrance fees. It is one of our charity events.

A two course meal is available between the sessions for a further cost of £16.50.  Food choices are i) chicken korma with rice, naan bread,mango chutney & veg, ii) beef bourginon with baby roasted potatoes and veg, and iii) red onion and goats cheese tart with salad/veg, all followed by a selection of desserts. Alternatively, you can bring your own food.  Free coffee/tea, other drinks available for purchase (wine, beer, soft drinks).

Please can you pay by online transfer to the club's bank account (Sort Code 40-17-14, Account Number 42756285, account name Deva Bridge Club) and include ‘Bowl’ in the reference. There is no need to include your name unless the payer’s account name is different, and you can pay for your partner as well if you wish. You will receive a confirmation email with details on how to pay the entry fee and your names will be displayed in the table of entrants lower down in this web box. (We need an email address for player 1 to send a confirmatory email. If you also provide a player 2 email address they will also receive an email and we will include both email addresses in emails we send out about future Deva licensed events.)
