The annual Ladies' Pairs Championship is run as a single session event at the same time as the Men's Pairs Championship. The two events are held towards the end of April each year. Currently they are held on the 3rd Thursday.

Both events are run as arrow switched pairs tournaments.

The table money is the normal amount plus £1 for prize money. Visitors may participate for an extra £1 but only pairs of club members are eligible for the prizes which are as follows:

• The winning pair (in addition to being presented with the trophy) share a cash prize of £12
• The second placed pair share £8 and
• The third placed pair share £4.

Our Ladies' and Men's pairs competitions took place in the club on Thursday 17 April. We had 10 pairs of ladies and 9 of men, which meant the ladies had no time to rest unlike the men who had time for forty winks (or a rest) during a sit-out round. Congratulations to the winning ladies, Christine Hughes and Anne Dodd. Runners up were Sally Banks & Annie Mead and 3rd place were Janice Meads & Sheila Banham. Here are photos of the top 3 places.

The Ladies Pairs Championship was held on Thursday (18 April) in the club. Congratulations to the Pat Powell & Rachel Pentecost. Sadly we were unable to get the results out on the night and because of that there are no photos this year.

Our annual Ladies' and Men's Pairs competitions were held on Thursday 27 April in the club. Rather than have two small competitions, we held one joint movement with only an overall ranking list. The highest highest ladies' pair was Avril Thompson and Jane Campion who are Ladies Pairs champions 2023. Ladies runners up were Jean Stelfox and Susan Haywood, and third place was Bernie Baker and Karen Harvey. Here they are with the corresponding men's pairs winners:
