Hazel, a No fears veteranwink runs the Carlton Wednesday afternoon Bronze pairs event. Its a fun and exciting 21 boards. There is also a novice tourney on Tuesday afternoon between 14 and 18 boards run by Elizabeth, great for those new to tournament bridge. Everybody welcome to both of them! Not to mention the superb catering provided. So please come along!

In memory...Michael and Helen bid a grand slam!

Michael and Helen play a rare variation of the 'Precision club system', where their 1♦ opening bid shows a strong hand with sixteen plus points. I enjoyed their effort In the illustrated hand from his last No fears tournament where they were only pair to reach the excellent Grand slam smiley, and did extremely well to bid 7♣ to chalk up 2140yes 

Thank you Mike for treating us to something different and contributing  to the Edinburgh No fears Bridge club. Great stuff!
