Brigden Entry Process

The Brigden is a Green Pointed double knockout teams-of-4 competition (and Pachabo qualifying event).

This is the principal DCBA knockout teams of 4 competition (Level 4 permitted). Green Points are awarded to winners of each 28-board match. The competition is IMP scored and there is no entry fee.

You don't need to complete an entry form, simply email your entries to the Competition Organiser (listed at the top of this page) prior to the due date (shown on the DCBA Calendar). Entries must include your phone number, captain and player names (up to 6 players maximum) and everyone's EBU numbers. If you prefer to complete a form and email that, you can download it here.

The first two matches are to be played at EMBA, Spondon on prescribed dates (see DCBA Calendar). If you are unable to play on the prescribed dates you must let the event organiser know in advance and arrange and play the match with your opponent prior to the next round date. Later rounds’ dates and venues are arranged by the captains.

All results must be emailed to the DCBA webmaster (see the DCBA website home page for email address).

Vic Morris Entry Process

The Vic Morris Cup and Plate knockout pivot teams-of-4 competition.

This is a handicapped, aggregate scored, knockout, pivot teams of four competition. There is no entry fee.

You don't need to complete an entry form, simply email your entries to the Competition Organiser (listed at the top of this page) prior to the due date (shown on the DCBA Calendar). Entries must include your phone number, captain and player names (up to 6 players maximum) and everyone's EBU numbers. If you prefer to complete a form and email that, you can download it here.

The first two matches are to be played at EMBA, Spondon on prescribed dates (see DCBA Calendar). The winner of match 1 goes into the Cup competition and the loser goes into the Plate competition.
