| Change to Club starting times - 29th October 2025 |
The Club committee has arranged to open the club and start play 30minutes earlier to enable players to avoid travel during the darker winter evenings.
The agreed date for changing the starting time of 14-00pm to be 13-30pm, for the winter, is the last Wednesday in October (29th) which is the 1st Wednesday after the Clocks go forward an hour on Sunday 26th October to Greenwich Mean Time. Please note this in your diaries to avoid confusion on that date.
Any pair arriving after the start time unfortunately can't be inserted into the movement.

| George Pilcher Handicapped Pairs |
♠ ♥ George Pilcher Trophy ♦ ♣
Congratulations to Franco & Helen Carlotti who we are pleased to announce won this competition on the 15th Oct 2025. Congratulations to you both.
Congratulations also go the Linda & Paul Hoptroff for their second place position.
This was the first running of the competition in the new format as a handicapped pairs event, no longer an individual Ladies only handicap event.
Both sets of results are available on the results tab on the club Bridgewebs site, both with and without the handicap applied. The results go to the EBU without handicap for Master & Points and NGS ranking.
We hope members enjoyed the new format.
