You have to register for a tournament on the bridgebase website -this cannot be done for you. Registration opens two hours before the tournament starts. You will not find the tournament before this.

You are requested to register at least half an hour before the tournament starts.

Registering if you have a partner

To register, both you and your partner have to be logged in to Bridgebase at the same time. Registration opens two hours prior to the start time for the tournament. You will not see the tournament before this.

a) Login to Bridgebase

b) Click on "Competitive" under "Play or Watch Bridge"

c) Click on "All tournaments" under "Tournaments"

d) Scroll down to find the CEBC tournament listed, or search for CEBC

e) Click on this and follow instructions -you will need to 'invite' your partner at the time you register and they will have to accept this invitation (hence the need for both of you to be logged in at the same time)

f) Both players will now receive a message to say that tournament registration has been successful -if you don't receive this message then you have not registered

To check your registration, click on the tournament again: if it tells you that you are already registered then you have indeed successfully registered, but if it asks you to invite a partner then you are not registered.

You will both need to be logged in again five minutes before the start time of the tournament. Late entries are not permitted. Simply login and wait. Your table will suddenly appear when the tournament starts.

e) Click on this and a registration login page will appear. On the right of this, you will see a tab for "Partner system" -click on this and follow instructions. Please note that you are not guaranteed a game this way.
