Pat Warren reports that the Cross in Hand Team was very warmly received and generously entertained by our friends at Crowborough for the annual Teams Match for the handsome silver salver.

Congratulations are due to Crowborough on their convincing win and, over the series, the result is now finely balanced at 8 - 8!  I am sure that in 2009 both clubs will be striving to pull ahead with that important 9th win to edge in front!

Whatever the outcome, a good time was had by all, especially those experiencing a friendly match for the first time, and we thank Crowborough for their hospitality.
