Hand diagrams are shown in various places. The size and format varies a little depending on where you are looking but the following features are generally present:
- The Board Number will be shown in the centre of the diagram.
- Dealer & Vulnerability will be shown as text in a box in the top left corner
- On all but the smallest version of the diagram, Dealer and Vulnerability will also be indicated by colouring/edging of North, South, East & West blocks around the central Board number. Red shows Vulnerable & Green not-Vulnerable, text on a white background indicates dealer.
- A box at the bottom left shows High Card Points for the hands (A=4, K=3, Q=2, J=1).
- On all but the smallest version of the diagram, clicking on (or hovering over) a hand shows more analysis (Length Points, Shortage Points, Support Points, Controls, Quick Tricks & Losers). You may find some or all of these useful (you may not agree with how some are calculated - Click here for Hand Evaluation details ).
- A box at the bottom right shows makeable contracts (these are shown unboxed and below the smallest version of the diagram).
