The club approach to covid safety is intended to be in line with government guidance and what seems to be in place at other public venues such as restaurants, cafes, cinemas and pubs...
Hand sanitiser will be available in the hall entrance and its use is recommended.
Many members have specifically indicated that they do not want to wear masks, so this will be optional.
We will not have external windows or doors open, but if all those attending wish for more ventilation we will adjust accordingly.
Please do not attend unless you have received all vaccinations available to you.
You must not attend if you have been notified that you should self-isolate or if you have any symptoms of fever, coughing, sneezing or loss of smell/taste.
You must not attend if you think you have been in close contact with someone in the category above (isolating or symptomatic) in the last 48 hours.
There will be some risk from covid (and flu) since attendees may be pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic.
Members, guests and visitors should inform themselves of the risks involved and how they may relate to their specific circumstances of age, pre-existing conditions and/or medication.
The above information will be available in printed form at the hall entrance but please relay it to anyone you know who might attend but may not have seen this email.
Anyone entering the hall will thus be doing so on the basis of informed consent of our arrangements and will accept responsibility for any consequent health outcomes.
