| Charity Night Presentation for Motor Neurone Disease |

After our President's very successful Charity Night for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a generous donation of €3000 was presented to the Cavan Local MND Representative, on Wednesday 10th December 2025.

25th Anniversary
Crannog Bridge Club celebrated their 25th Anniversary on it's regular bridge night in Cavan Crystal hotel on Wednesday 31st Jan 2025.Presentations were made to the founder of the club Aileen Timoney of a specially commissioned piece, by jewellery designer Elena Brennan also all the past presidents of the club received a gift bag for their great service to the club throughout the 25 years. Teresa Reilly who has been the clubs bridge teacher for all of this time was presented with a gift for her great service to the club. The North Eastern Region was represented by its President Kay Goldsworthy and secretary Seamus Costello who were presented with flowers and a gift respectively by Crannog president Gloria Good. Food was served to the full assembly and this was followed by a bridge session of twenty tables. A wonderful celebration for the club with much thanks to our president Gloria and her team.
