Report on AGM 24 May 2022 |
The AGM was held on Tuesday 24th May. Thanks to members who ensured we had a valid quorum logged on. The ZOOM meeting was kindly hosted by CBAI with the assistance of Neil Burke and Eileen Salmon. Many tributes were extended to outgoing President Mags Kelly for the efficent and expert way she guided the club through the stormy waters of the Covid pandemic. Thank you Mags. Incoming President Paddy Cooney will have a hard act to follow. Members of the newly elected committee can be viewed in the left bar menu. We wish them well in the year ahead.
A motion amending part of section 6 of the club constitution was proposed by Paddy Cooney and seconded by Siobhán Canty, It read "Membership be parked for one year only". This motion was debated by the members in attendance and passed unanimously. The constitution will be updated immediately to take account of this change.
Many thanks to Eileen Salmon for her work as Secretary and we wish her well in her retirement to County Louth. We also convey thanks to Rosemary Kennedy for her work as Matchmaker in recent years.
