Coolagad Bridge Club plays bridge on Monday nights, starting at 7:30pm, the the Greystones Bridge Cente on Victoria Road, Greystones.

Open season - 10th June until 26th August
Bridge will be played each Monday during the summer and is open to all-comers
To help beginner's adapt to playing in Club competitions, Jo O'Farrell will be running a separate Beginners section during the summer break. The aim is to help beginner's move from classes to playing competitions
If you know of any beginners who are wary of joining a club, why not invite them along to these sessions

The following opening & closing rota has been agreed for the 2018/19 season
The Teams of Four competition on 8th October.
There was a computer error in the middle of the 7th round.
As a consequence, the results from the 7th and 8th rounds were lost.
A decision on the result of the competition will be taken atr out next committee meeting on Monday 15th September and announced before play next week

Our annual Charity Night was held on Monday 24th September 2018 in aid of the Wicklow Hospice Foundation
We presented Sean Dorgan, Chairman of the Wicklow Hospice Foundation, with a cheque for € 1,100.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who attended and/or donated towards this great result.
In particular, thank you to Anne Daly & SuperValu Greystones who sponsored the bridge prizes on the night and to our committee members who worked hard to ensure that the night was a success.

Members of Coolagad Bridge Club was represented in many of the compeitions in the Bray Bridge Congress which was held in the Royal Hotel, Bray on Fri 31st Aug - Sun 2nd Sept 2018.
Congratulations to Margaret Waller & Ray Lally who won the Intermediate Pairs competition on Saturday
Other members who distinguished themselves over the week-end were
Gala Pairs / Friday: Noel Carthy & Linda McGeehan and Mairead Clifford & Geraldine Cassidy just missed a podium finish, ranking 4th and 5th respectively
Congress Teams / Sunday: Frank Ó Gallachóir, Triona Irving, Mary Teehan & Peggy Kelly who won the Best Area Master team prize
