The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force on 25 May 2018 is a European Regulation that gives individuals more control than previously over how their personal data can be used by the organisations they deal with.
Collins Bridge Club is such an organisation.
We are advised by the CBAI that the best way is to ask all existing and incoming members to fill in a new-style Membership Form. By doing so, they will be aware of all their data held by the Club and with whom it is shared, and of the controls to safeguard that data.
