The first session is a FREE TASTER session, then weekly in term times (dates available by email) until end June 2028.
Fees
You need to book a place on the course and the first session is a 'no obligation' to check you want to continue!
Each module/term is payable in advance based on number of sessions in that block (@ £15 per session).
Term dates, session topics and fee details can be emailed to you. Comprehensive lesson summary, slides and support materials are emailed after each session.

| Refresh and Progress |
Refresh and Progress
This is a ten-week course for those who have attended classes previously and want to improve their bidding.
Formal teaching will be kept to a minimum. The sessions will start with a short orientation quiz and will then concentrate on bidding and discussion of set hands.
(NB This course is not suitable as an introduction to Bridge or for those who have been away from the game for a long time.
Consider the 1-year Foundation course instead)

Fees
The course consists of 10 weekly sessions, each session costing £15
The total fee of £150 is payable at the start of the course (or in 2 instalments).

| 'Revision and supervised play' course |
'Supervised play and revision sessions'
This is held over 10 weeks in the Autumn for students who have completed the foundation course in the June before.
Each session has a bidding topic and a play topic with a 15 minute recap on these, before playing up to 8 prepared hands on those topics.
Sessions last 2 hours and cost £12 per session

Continuing bridge
These classes assume that you know the basics and have developed over time 'improver/intermediate' level play!
For people who have completed the Foundation Year and/or the 'Refresh and Progress' course
Advanced topics for Duplicate players.
No partner required!
This course is not currently available at Colchester Bridge School, but there are other teachers and recommended courses through online learning which can be advised,
