Our 2025 - 2026 bridge season opened Thursday, October 23, 2025.  We look forward to seeing everyone!  LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

************ALERT!  ALERT!  BECAUSE OF THE HOLIDAYS WE WILL BE PLAYING ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 24TH AND WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31ST!**************

For those new to bridge in Puerto Vallarta, we are a n​​​​​​on ACBL sanctioned duplicate club, operated by a volunteer committee.  We play Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays* upstairs in the San Lucas Restaurant located on the corner of Lazaro Cardenas and Insurgentes (entrance is the side door facing the Guadalajara Pharmacy).  

* Saturdays begin the first Saturday in January.

When you arrive (before 1:15 our close off time), please pay for your partner as well as yourself ($150 each - $300 pesos total for 2).  Correct change is greatly appreciated and will spare you “the look” 😊.  The game will be set up on the computer and we will be ready to start shortly thereafter.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Janet “Jan” Mori, a beloved mother, grandmother and friend whose warmth, curiosity and adventurous spirit brightened the lives of those who knew her.  She is survived by her daughter Kristin and grandchildren Reiko and Kai, and by her son, Kyle and granddaughter Kaiya.  Her family and friends were her greatest joy and she cherished moments spent with them.

A woman of many talents and an endless sense of wonder, Jan embraced life with enthusiasm.  She loved to play bridge, sew, and explore new places through her extensive travels.  Whether discovering a distant corner of the world or enjoying a gathering with friends, Jan approached each experience with openness and genuine delight.  

Her warm heart, inquisitive mind, and bold sense of adventure made her a cherished companion.  Jan had a special gift for making others feel welcome and valued, and she cultivated deep, lasting friendships throughout her life.  

Jan’s presence will be profoundly missed, but her spirit lives in the stories shared, the journeys she inspired and the love she gave freely.  The photo above was from her recent time in Mexico City.

She will be remembered always with gratitude, affection, and great admiration.

Jan is an example of a life well lived!
