In Our Own Words

The tutors, who run the beginner course, are so welcoming. If, like me, you know nothing about Bridge, it can be daunting to start to learn, but they are both able to explain very clearly what the basics are and answer any questions in a way which is easy to understand and doesn't make you feel stupid. Everyone feels welcome and included; it is a fun class. I really enjoyed it and have continued learning and playing since finishing the class

Learning to play bridge has opened a up a whole new world for us, which we would never have imagined. We are now playing bridge in a variety of settings (having immense fun in the process) which has brought home to us, and has been observed by others, how clear and comprehensive our tuition was.  We cannot praise the tutors highly enough, they are great communicators, generous with their time and their support continues to this day.

The class is friendly and welcoming and you really couldn’t find a better way to start learning bridge by doing their in person weekly lessons. During these you will be taken step by step through the basics, rules and etiquette of this fantastic game. The tutors  are enthusiastic, patient and superb teachers and they are helping and encouraging us now, long after the lessons finished. If you are thinking of trying it I would say just do it - but be prepared to find it totally addictive!

Learning Bridge in my sixties was daunting, to say the least,  but I need not have worried-  However, the icing on the cake was the teachers- who
are passionate about Bridge, and LOVE sharing their knowledge with others. They make learning Bridge SO MUCH FUN.

Join us. You won’t regret it!’ The enthusiasm of the teachers was infectious. We may not be stars but the teachers certainly improved our play. Never too late to learn.

Having done training myself I found both the teachers very professional in their training, encouraging everyone and trying to bring out the best in them. They have a great enthusiasm for what they teach and if you have any questions they answer them and if they don’t know will find out.  They make the class a joy to be in and one of the things that impressed me is that they could go round the entire class and name everyone in it. Anyone that is thinking of learning bridge couldn’t ask for better trainers.
