The Cafe
“Menu” and Opening Times
  • Cafe friends
  • CBC CAFE
  • Club/CBC CAFE AREA

Many of you are asking about the facilities and opening hours of the cafe.

Currently the cafe is open from one hour before the start of all tournaments with the exception of Sunday, when it is only open 30 minutes before.
Extending the opening hours is under consideration and will be one of the issues for the new Trustees, when appointed, to consider.

Currently we offer Cappuccinos, Lattes, Americano, White Coffee  Chocolate from the machine priced £2: Tea is £1:  Chocolate biscuits 50p. Drinks can only be taken into the Tournament Room if they are in the provided cups with lids securely attached.

There are two vans adjacent to the CBC; the one at the front offers sandwiches, baked potatoes, soup hot rolls etc ( closes 2.30pm) and the one to the rear ( closes 3pm) offers more Italian style dishes, eg Pizza Pasta etc. Members are welcome to purchase food from the vans and bring it into the cafe area, where we are happy to provide cutlery, crockery etc.

Any volunteers to assist in the cafe would be most welcome.

If you have any suggestions please leave a note in the “comments box” in the Tournament Room.
