  1. BASIC INTRODUCTION

TUTORS: Frances and Norma

This course is aimed at those with little or no experience of playing Bridge and assumes no prior knowledge. It will use a combination of carefully structured lessons quickly linked to practical playing of the cards, all in a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Your tutors are highly experienced in delivering this course with an excellent track record of high retention rates. It will also form part of a progressive journey leading you to more and more enjoyment of a game which is one of the best leisure activities you can take up!

The cost of the 10 week course is £100.00 which includes all the relevant notes and tea and coffee will be provided at each lesson.

  2. THE NEXT STEPS

TUTORS: Frances and Norma

This 10-lesson course revises and extends the content of our ‘Basic Introduction’ course. It assumes a basic knowledge of card play and trick taking in No Trump and Suit contracts. It builds the foundations of solid bidding understanding between you and your partner before the introduction of the competitive auction. We will use a combination of carefully structured lessons quickly linked to practical playing of the cards, all in a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Your tutors are highly experienced in delivering this course with an excellent track record of high retention rates. It will also form part of a progressive journey leading you to more and more enjoyment of a game which is one of the best leisure activities you can take up!

  3. BUILDING ON THE BASICS

This 10 lesson course focuses on the competitive auction. We introduce different types of overcalls and cover appropriate responses. It is aimed at those with a good grounding of basic bidding and responses. It will use a combination of carefully structured lessons quickly linked to practical playing of the cards, all in a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Your tutors are highly experienced in delivering this course with an excellent track record of high retention rates.
