Obituary for Our Dear Friend May Grills

It is with great sadness that we heard of the passing of May. We offer our condolences to her much loved children Anne, John and her extended family.

May was a long-standing member of Clontarf Bridge Club where she held most offices in the club.  She ran all the competitions in the club for many years. Her help support and encouragement to all our new members in recent years was very much appreciated. She was a wonderful bridge player and won many trophies most recently the President's Cup in 2017 ( photo'd here with her partner Helen Bolton at the presentation by the President Chris O' Doherty).  She entered wholeheartedly into Club events, her detailed recordings of same are wonderful to have. Every year May organized our service of remembrance to our deceased members, this was done with great sensitivity and kindness

Rest in peace May, we will never forget your kindness your sense of fairness and your generosity to us all
