1. Absent
Fay D'Abo (FD) and Vicky Bevan (VB), both with good reason.
2. Confirmation of the minutes of the previous meeting
The minutes of the meeting of 28th November 2022 were confirmed and the Chairman signed them.
3. To Report on the Actioning of Items from Previous Meetings
- 22-3Ⓐ4 GW to request access to the Day Centre on 19th December from 18.00. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-3Ⓐ5 GW to produce a Members Contact Details card before the next AGM. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ1 PH to draft text of an email to be sent by GW informing all members that annual subs are due and urging them to pay online. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ2 GW to broadcast this email once text is agreed. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ3 GW to put notice of the Xmas Party on the Club website and notify members that table money of £2.50 per member will be levied this year because of the Club's financial hardship. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ4 JM to collect table money on 23rd January 2023. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ5 GW to collect table money on 30th January 2023. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ6 GW to create next year's host rota. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ7 GW to email host rota to members. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ8 GW to put host rota on website. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ9 GW to print host rota and bring to club. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ10 RA and VB to provide the food. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-4Ⓐ11 GW to provide the drink and glasses. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
4. Planning for the AGM
- It was agreed that winners of the Club Championship should receive a token financial prize.
- It was agreed that the AGM should start at 1900.
- It was agreed that at the AGM, members should be warned that, although all the committee is willing to be re-elected this year, this will be their last year of office. Potential replacements must come forward before this time next year.
- 23-1Ⓐ1 GW to put the 2022 accounts on the website, asking for any questions to be sent in before the AGM.
- 23-1Ⓐ2 GW to print 10 copies of the accounts and distribute at AGM.
- 23-1Ⓐ3 RA to ask her Elmbridge accounting contact whether there would be a price advantage in the club becoming a charity.
- 23-1Ⓐ4 GW to retrieve Club Championship trophy.
- 23-1Ⓐ5 RA to get two £10 John Lewis/Waitrose vouchers.
