1. Absent

2. Confirmation of the minutes of the previous meeting
The minutes of the meeting of 5th September 2022 were confirmed and the Chairman signed them.
3. To Report on the Actioning of Items from Previous Meetings
- 22-3Ⓐ1 The committee agreed to leave table money pricing at £2.50 for members. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-3Ⓐ2 The committee agreed that, as the Club's finances are tight, we would levy the standard table money charging at this year's Xmas Party. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-3Ⓐ3 The committee agreed to schedule this year's Xmas Party for 19th December at 18.45. ⓓⓞⓝⓔ
- 22-3Ⓐ4 GW to request access to the Day Centre on 19th December from 18.00. ⓞⓟⓔⓝ
- 22-3Ⓐ5 GW to produce a Members Contact Details card before the next AGM. ⓞⓟⓔⓝ
4. Review of the Club's Progress towards Profitability
PH discussed the Income and Expenditure Account. The Club has achieved a real surplus in recent months thanks in part to the arrival of several new members. We have to allow for the possibility of an increase in hiring fees for the Day Centre, and for the purchase of new packs of cards, for which £150 has been reserved. It was agreed that table money should continue at £2.50 for another quarter, in part because £10 per table is a convenient sum to be collected. Subscriptions will remain for the time being at £10 per annum.
- 22-4Ⓐ1 PH to draft text of an email to be sent by GW informing all members that annual subs are due and urging them to pay online.
- 22-4Ⓐ2 GW to broadcast this email once text is agreed.
- 22-4Ⓐ3 GW to put notice of the Xmas Party on the Club website and notify members that table money of £2.50 per member will be levied this year because of the Club's financial hardship.
- 22-4Ⓐ4 JM to collect table money on 23rd January 2023.
- 22-4Ⓐ5 GW to collect table money on 30th January 2023.
5. Host Rota
Members have generally been good at fulfilling their hosting responsibilities unless they had very good reasons.
- 22-4Ⓐ6 GW to create next year's host rota.
- 22-4Ⓐ7 GW to email host rota to members.
- 22-4Ⓐ8 GW to put host rota on website.
- 22-4Ⓐ9 GW to print host rota and bring to club.
6. Xmas Party

- 22-4Ⓐ11 GW to provide the drink and glasses.
7. Any Other Business
It was agreed that the next AGM should take place on 13th March 2023.
8. Date of Next Meeting
The next committee meeting will be held at 6pm on Monday 6th March 2023 at Elm Road.
