Policies
Claygate is now a Level 3 club, as defined by the EBU Blue Book

As from 12th August 2019, we are a Level 3 club, as defined by the EBU Blue Book.  A full description of the conventions allowed can be found at: https://www.ebu.co.uk/documents/laws-and-ethics/blue-book/blue-book-2019.pdf

Segregated tournaments: Lisa Hill and Christopher Blundell trophies

At the 2019 AGM, the chairman noted that the Club had not run either the Lisa Hill or Christopher Blundell trophy matches in the previous year, and that no-one had complained.

The Club will therefore have an informal policy of not running either of these segregated competitions until the members ask for one.

Teams tournaments

At the 2019 AGM, the chairman noted that the Club had not run a Teams competition in the previous year, and that no-one had complained.

The Club will therefore have an informal policy of not running a Teams competition until the members ask for one.

Benefits for Hosts

At the committee meeting of 15th April 2019, it was confirmed that each host who turns up will get one free session, whether it be the hosted session itself or, if they did not get a game that evening, their next session at the club.

'Sims' (also known as 'Simultaneous Pairs')

At the committee meeting of 15th April 2019, it was agreed that the Club will not, in general, run Sims events, unless there is demand from members.
