The minutes of the meeting of 11th March 2024 were confirmed and the Chairman signed them.

4. Brief Review of the AGM

The three new committee members were welcomed. The accounts for 2023 had been reviewed and agreed. There were no matters arising.

Treasurer: RA (VM to deputise)

• To continue collecting and banking table money
• RA to liaise with CW regarding payment/non-payment of annual subscriptions

Secretary: CW

• To forward EBU messages to the Committee or membership
• To take meeting minutes and pass to GW for dissemination

Financial Accounts: VM

• To produce regular accounts as necessary
• To collect table money in RA’s absence

Membership Administration: CW

• To ensure membership forms are distributed to new members (in the blue drawers)
• To obtain member file from Pauline Harris

• To contact hosts ahead of each Monday evening to check on attendance
• To formulate and communicate the host rota

6. Refurbishment of the Community Centre

The circular tables now provided are too large. Storage of collapsible tables was discussed. There are high delivery costs if we ask the EBU to deliver the tables. GW and RA volunteered to collect 10 new collapsible square tables from the EBU warehouse in Aylesbury.
