The Civil Service Bridge Club was established in 1946.The initial objective of the Club was "To promote and provide facilities for the game of bridge and such other social functions as may be deemed desirable by the Commitee"The Club developed to be one of the leading bridge clubs in the country and over the years has produced many players,past and present,of international standard who have represented us in European and World events.In 1987 the Club purchased our present clubhouse at 72 Heytesbury Street.There are presently two hundred members.Each year the Club conducts classes for those wishing to learn bridge and join the Club.
