These last few years as been very difficult for Face to Face bridge and especially so in the Ft. Myers area.    The COVID-19 pandemic drove many of our players to playing online bridge and this had a big impact on the attendance at the brick and mortar clubs.   A tornado and 3 or 4 destructive hurricanes in SWFL has also made a negative impact on attendance at our clubs.  

We made the decision not to renew our lease for the club on Tamiami Trail and move the club to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church at 8210 Cypress Lake Drive here in Ft. Myers.   We will be holding games and doing teaching at this location on Mondays & Thursdays.   The Lee County Bridge Association holds Open games Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays at this location.   We are all part of the Fort Myers/SWFL bridge community and are excited to be part of having bridge at one location, same time and each week day.   

Also, it is important during this time for the health of the club that our players continue to support the club by playing in the Florida Bridge Collection's online games.
