Church Bridge Club (CHBC) Membership Application form (non-EBU member)

Please use this application form if you are not already a member of the EBU. If you are a member of the EBU, please use the Membership Application (EBU Member).

EBU Membership

By becoming a member of Church Hill Bridge Club you automatically become a member of the English Bridge Union (EBU), subject to the EBU Board’s right of refusal or expulsion pursuant to its Bye Laws. You can either be a “Named” member of the EBU or an “Anonymous” member of the EBU.

If you are a “Named” member, the club will provide the EBU with your contact details (i.e. name, email address and postal address). The EBU will send you a Welcome Pack, you will receive EBU member benefits including the English Bridge Magazine, and you will be able to enter EBU competitions.

On the other hand, if you are an “Anonymous” member, the club will not pass your contact details to the EBU. You will not receive the EBU Welcome Pack, you will not be able to enter EBU competitions, nor will you receive any EBU member benefits including the English Bridge magazine.

The choice is entirely yours and you can switch from “Named” to “Anonymous” or vice versa at any time.
