On-Line Improver Bridge Classes |
On-Line Improver Group Classes this Term with Graham Baskerville.
There will be five sessions this term with the emphasis on the techniques related to Slam Bidding. Slams get great scores and depend on the ability to recognise that a Slam may be on and then having the techniques to explore whether the Slam will be successful.
The classes will take place on Thursday mornings starting at 9.30 with a Presentation on Zoom followed after a break by a Practice Session with Set Hands on RealBridge. Notes and commentaries on the Hands will be provided.
Thursday 26th January Roman Key Card Blackwood (1430)
Thursday 2nd February Cue Bidding showing first or second round control
Thursday 9th February Splinter Bids
Thursday 16th February No Class – Schools Half Term
Thursday 23rd February Jacoby
Thursday 2nd March Quantitative Bidding
The classes are open to anyone who plays regularly and wishes to improve their Bridge. Learning from home on-line is very convenient and learning together can be great fun. There is no need to have a partner but, obviously, it is an advantage if your regular partner attends too.
The cost is £25 (£5 per lesson) ideally paid in advance, with refunds if you cannot attend.
Please contact Graham Baskerville for further information or details of enrolment. grahambaskerville@me.com 07775 501710
