|Booking a seat
Some club sessions will have a limit on attendance e.g. for social distancing. The website Calendar entry for such events will state "Booking Required". This guide explains what you need to do to reserve seats for you and your partner in advance.
Book your seats online by going to the club website home page. For each session, only one player should book both seats for the partnership.
- Click the Club Calendar picture:
- Find the session in which you wish to play (use the arrows at the top of the Calendar to advance to the next month if necessary).
- A club session description should state that booking is required and the maximum number of pairs. Touch (on an iPad) or move the mouse pointer (on a PC) on the session, and click the 'Booking Required' picture:
When the ‘Booking’ window appears, type in your:-
Email address OR your name OR your EBU number ( not all three and nothing else )
Click the ‘Check’ button.
This checks that you are on our database. Don’t worry if your name is not recognised. The name you gave us on your application is the one we will have registered. Use your email or EBU number instead.
Once you have been checked, you won’t have to repeat this step during the current web browser session (you will go straight to the next step).
Next Type in the full name of your partner (not email address or EBU number or anything else)
Click the 'Add Booking' button:
That's it - you are now booked in to play.
NB: If for any reason you can't play, it's important that you remove your booking by clicking the 'Remove' button instead. If you make a mistake, repeat the booking process and your latest booking will supersede all previous.
