We offer a range of online bridge using RealBridge every week
and occasional face to face duplicate bridge for charity

We are a members’ club, but new members are welcome. Membership costs £2 for the period to 31st August, and covers all our online and face to face sessions

All our online sessions use RealBridge. Regular duplicate pairs sessions cost £2 per player, invoiced monthly in arrears. Special events, such as Sim Pairs, may cost more. To play, click the RealBridge Login link in the Calendar item, and login with your full name (Forename Surname), and use your EBU number, if you have one, as the ID number.  If you are new to RealBridge, see this Quick Start Guide.

Throughout June, we will be raising money for Hedgehog Haven Rescue

Every time you play during the month, the club will donate 50p to the charity. So, the more often you play, the larger the donation.

To replace our face to face Friday evening charity events, we will be selecting a charity each month, and donating 50p for each player at every session played during the month. If you have any suggestions of worthy charities, please get in touch.

These sessions are aimed at members, who wish to play duplicate bridge in a more relaxed environment than our other events. The sessions are open to anyone with an NGS ranking of less than 10, including those who have not played online before.

Each session will consist of about 16 boards, and will be run by a non-playing Director who will be on hand to answer questions or offer assistance on bidding and play if required. EBU Masterpoints and NGS rating will not be offered for the sessions.

If you are interested in playing in these sessions, then please send an email to chelmsfordbc@zoho.com, including the details of your partner if you have one. If you need a partner, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will try to find one for you.

Unlike our other sessions, we will not be publishing the link to play on our website. Instead we will distribute the joining details by email. So if you wish to play, it is essential that you register your interest as soon as possible in advance by email to chelmsfordbc@zoho.com
