A fantastic achievement by our Western Region player, Joan Kenny, on winning both the pairs event with her partner, Jeannie Fitzgerald (Jackson Cup), and the teams event (McMenamin Bowl) in the CBAI national events, which took place in Clane. Joan's team (Joan Kenny, Jeannie Fitzgerald, Siobhan Part, Teresa Rigney) also won the Team events  McMenamin Bowl for the third time in four years. 
Well done to Louise Mitchell and her teammates, Lucy Phelan, Ann O'Connell & Valarie Burke-Moran, who finished in 6th place overall.
And to Margaret Forde and her team, Breda Scanlon, Phil Harnett & Monica Ryan in winning the best Area Master team.

Well done to David Walsh and his teammates, Ciarán Coyne, Adam Mesbur & Tommy Garvey for finishing in a close 3rd place in the team event (Geraldine Trophy)

The qualifiers will represent the Western Region in the national pairs competition which will take place at the Falls Hotel, Ennistymon, Sat the 7th & 8th March.  Book your accommodation now.
