In December 2021, we were approached by Simon Westerman of Tyler Hill Bridge Club, Canterbury, Kent, England (bridgewebs.com) from near Canterbury in Kent wondering if we would be interested in playing a team’s match against his club. This is something he had been organising with other clubs in England and Ireland since last year. In December, 10 teams from Tyler’s Hill faced up against 10 teams from Cork Bridge Club and Tyler’s Hill won just. Anyhow when we heard from Simon, we said, “Wow what a wonderful idea, why didn’t we think of that?” and immediately agreed to play a match against them on Wednesday 2nd February.  

Tyler Hill were the victors on the night but we enjoyed taking part and congratulations to our winning teams highlighted in orange below!  We hope to have a repeat event later in 2022 and take back the cup to CAVBC!
