Cavan Bridge Club Captain's charity night was held recently. €1,550 was raised which was presented to the Holy Family School,

A big congratulations to our members Josephine , Frances, Anna and Melissa who won the Best Regional Masters in Holmes Wilson competition held in Mount Wolseley Hotel, Tullow, Co Carlow.

Congratulations to our members Melissa Brady, Anna Shalvey, Mary Maguire and Kathleen Mc Cabe who were part of the winning Ulster team at the Interprovincials. The team were the best performing overall team and Anna and Melissa topped the Butler list closely followed by Mary and Kathleen. A fantastic performance by all involved! Congratulations ladies! 👏🏻

The Club Championship was held earlier this month and the winners were revealed at the Captain's Dinner. This year's winners were Paddy Mc Dermott and Melissa Brady, pictured here with Club Captain Frances Daly. 2nd place went to Gloria Good and Gabrielle O Hanlon and 3rd place was Frances Daly and Pat Plunkett. ​​​The net winners were 1st Anna Shalvey and Andy Martin, 2nd Veronica Fay and Mykola Mits, 3rd Hugh Markey and Caroline Mulvey.

Congratulations to Angela O Reilly and Eileen Doyle who are this years winners of the Gorta Trophy.

Congratulations to Anna Shalvey & Melissa Brady on on winning the Drogheda Congress Intermediate A pairs.

Anna & Melissa were also one half of the team who finished 2nd in the Intermediate A teams alongside Mary Maguire & Kathleen Mc Cabe.

Congratulations also to our current Captain Frances Daly & her partner Josephine Brady on finishing 3rd in the Area Master section.

Cavan Bridge Club members Melissa Brady, Kathleen Mc Cabe, Mary Maguire and Bríd Campbell-Mc Manus became national bridge champions this past weekend in Portlaoise. 

The team represented the North Eastern Region at the competition and won the National Intermediate B Teams Final.
